At the 24th WA Screen Awards on 19 March BLAME Sound Designer Ric Curtin won the Lotterywest Award for Outstanding Achievement by a Practitioner for his body of work in 2010, including BLAME.
The Buenos Aires International Film Festival of Independent Cinema (BAFICI) - the most prestigious celebration of independent cinema in Latin America, announced today that BLAME will screen in official competition at this year's festival (6-17 April). And the CPH PIX Film Festival in Copenhagen, Denmark (14 April-1 May) has also just confirmed BLAME for its 2011 festival programme.
BLAME made its Sydney premiere at the Ritz Cinema on Friday 4 March as part of the Australian Film Festival. Producer Michael Robinson participated in a Q&A after the screening.
